Come and Try

The Come ‘N’ Try program has one session each Saturday morning, unless stated otherwise.

The cost is $25 per person per session, which includes your equipment hire and coaching. If you wish to use your own equipment then the cost is $15 per person per session. (Please note: use of own equipment is subject to inspection by our coaches)

EFTPOS preferred please, but cash is available.

Whilst we can host up to a maximum of 30 people, subject to the availability of our coaches, this number may be less. Participation is on a first come, first served basis and no bookings are taken. The Come ‘N’ Try sessions run from 9:30am till 11:00am. Registration is between 9:00am and 9:30am so equipment can be assigned to you. Please Note if the session is filled before 9:30am registration will close earlier. We recommend getting to the club between 8:45am and 9:15am to secure a place.

We cater for all beginners, as well as anyone just wishing to have a go.

The lower age limit is 10 years old, but under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. There is no upper age limit.

All archers must wear:

• Closed-in shoes (no Crocs or slides)
• Closer-fitting shirts (loose clothing is not advised)
• Long hair must be tied back
• Family-appropriate clothing

Note: All participants, as part of their participation fee, are automatically registered as ‘Temporary Players’ with Archery Australia, receiving temporary public liability insurance cover.
